Claire will work into her embroidery with paint. The fence has painted details and the snow is splattered acrylic paint. The robin has detail added with pen and paint because the embroidery can sometimes become too thick to add further details.

CREATURES

Claire loves to embroider animals and birds. Robins, foxes and sheep are much loved muses.  These embroideries are usually produced using a method called thread painting. The threads are carefully mixed and layered as they are stitched to create a realistic depiction.
