ABSTRACT

Claire's abstract embroideries provide a contrast to her realistic thread paintings. These embroideries are full of colour and texture. Claire uses scraps of fabrics, yarns and mixed media elements such as metallic foils or fused Angelina fibers to add extra dimension.
