Commission Me

An epic embroidery, or a simple card, please ask me. I don't bite. I'm not expensive and I'd be glad to have a go at bringing your idea to life.

I took part in the textile week exhibition at Leamington Studio Artists. One of the LSA trustees purchased one of my bluebell landscapes. He asked me to stich another version for a very special birthday present. I was very pleased to be asked and the wood grew and evolved as I stitched.

A friend asked me to stitch a black Labrador onto a small zipped purse. So she could gift it to her sister in memory of a previous pet. Black dogs are not the easiest creatures to stitch. I looked for high lights to bring out the details and character of the dog.

"This commission was particularly meaningful because the couple trusted me to be part of their special day. "

A young couple recently contacted me with a very unusual request. They were due to be married but couldn't take their furry family member with them. The bride to be asked me if I would be able to embroider a portrait for the groom to wear inside his jacket so their pet could be with them in spirit. I thought it was a lovely idea and was honoured to be asked to complete this unusual request.

The embroidery was completed as a school badge type patch so it could be stitched inside the jacket. We chose this format so the embroidery could be framed later.
