Claire Fell is an award winning textile artist who creates her embroideries on a domestic sewing machine.  She carefully chooses her fabric and threads to produce the finished embroidery.

Claire stitches a variety of subjects, these can be realistic landscapes, imaginary people, animals or experimental abstract pieces.

Claire has also written a book about free machine embroidery. The Crowood press asked Claire to share her extensive embroidery skills with a book full of techniques and projects to inspire beginners and more advanced sewers.

Claire designs and makes items for her Clarence Cole  brand. She sells her unusual handmade gifts at local craft fairs and artisan markets.
